Last week the FANZONE founders Dirk, Björn & Claudio were in Lisbon to meet fellow startups from Porsche’s Forward31 family, plus present FANZONE in Web Summit’s BETA programme and talk to new partners and potential investors. 10/31 — Lisbon Morning Run

During Sunday afternoon we were prepping our whole Web Summit week at the House of Beautiful Business. Hi to Jan Garde, our fellow co-founder from The Embassies.
11/1 — Porsche Digital’s Forward31 Family Meeting
What a room! Together with other founders from Aware, My Inner Health Club, The Embassies, and House of Beautiful Business, the FANZONE founders were fine-tuning their investor pitches.
11/1 — Web Summit Opening Night
Listening to Ayo Tometi, the co-founder of the Black Lives Matter movement, in a packed Altice Arena. Tometi: “I’m so excited for the times that we’re in, where technology can help us move forward. But it has to come with a purpose!” WORD ✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿
11/1 — Meeting Extreme E driver Christine “GZ” Giampaoli Zonca

11/2 — Meeting legendary tennis coach Patrick Mouratoglou
Kalimera! It was an honor and pleasure to talk to tennis legend Patrick Mouratoglou and his collegue Carlos Rodrigues about sports NFTs and the future of digital collectibles on FANZONE.
2/11 — We witnessed lots of incredible speakers on the Sports Trade stage and got in touch with most of them

11/2 — Web Summit Cocktail Evening at Pharmacia Musical 🎶
When in Lisbon you HAVE TO visit Pharmacia Musical (R. Damasceno Monteiro 75b, 1170–113 Lisboa) This authentic live music bar was the scenery for an intimate gathering for Web Summit guests interested in blockchain and decentralized digital economies. The owner Hugo Fernandes (2nd on the left) is an amazing guy and his whole crew was so welcoming all evening long. London based investor Adrian Au was another pleasant surprise that evening.

After his talk “How finance can build a better consumer experience while being sustainable” Formula E founder Alejandro Agag took 1 minute of his precious time for us.
4/11 — Exhibition Day
On our last day we had several talks at our booth in Pavillon 4, where other founders could get in touch with us and learn more details about our product.
After an eventful 4 days Björn, Claudio & Dirk say: “Bye bye Web Summit 2021”
That was our brief Web Summit tour. Last week in Portugal was probably one of the most intense 6 days over the last 14 months at FANZONE — but also super exciting & we’re looking forward to new projects that might result from this action-packed trip. Hope to be back in Lisbon next year!
